The first book I wrote was a gift for my brother’s 40th birthday. The second book, “All days are good days,” tells the story of my journey through a period of exhaustion combined with a whiplash injury. It offers insight into the diagnosis, methods, and my mindset for recovery. After six years, I went back to working life.

Analogue, digital working life.”

The world of work had changed a lot, and I needed to update my knowledge. Combining my professional background in medicine and occupational health with a passion for writing, it evolved into a book project. The book“WIFL (Work In Fake Life) – Your Guide to the Digital Working Life” was published in 2013 and was the first book in Sweden about digital working life. It took me into the tech world, where I worked with small, innovative, entrepreneurial companies —so-called startups and scaleups.

Change your mindset, not who you are.”

The new, digitized world of work and the need for effective self-leadership have become increasingly apparent. The new conditions required a changed mindset to lead oneself and others healthily and creatively. To continue to be oneself, but to change one’s mindset. An overview of the new working life and its changing demands is summarized concretely in the book“I’m a Cebra on the Digitized Savanna – Are You? How to Succeed in the Digitized Working Life” (2016). The book also includes practical exercises for confident self-leadership.

“New books

There are still a couple of unpublished fiction books maturing on my computer. The text I’m working on now is leading others from within a strong self-leadership in our analog-digital world. The blog on the site occasionally features some unedited writing about it.

WIFL- Work In Fake Life – Your guide to the digital working life.

”WIFL is a look into cyberspace to get an insight into the vast and new digital working life. We are living and participating in the most significant change in work since the Industrial Revolution, and the significant changes are affecting work organizations, the labor market, and occupational health. Business models are looking different and are affecting leadership and organizations. The demands on participants in the labor market are changing and require self-reliance, drive, responsibility, and delivery. A recurring statement by the 22 people interviewed in the book is that “before you went to work, now work is something you do.” (Swedish, 2013)

I’m a Cebra on the Digitized Savanna – Are you? Change your mindset, not your stripes.

A book about changing your mindset and still being who you are. About adapting and happily strolling through life in the new analog-digital life. That is by leading yourself from within. You will get concrete tools in this short, compact, and distinctly written text. (English text, 2016)
